Jirzia Blackman is a visionary leader, Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor, and the founder and CEO of Rhapsody Counseling and Wellness Center. With over 17 years of experience in the mental health field, Jirzia specializes in individual, couples, and family therapy, offering transformative insights into personal growth, emotional resilience, and well-being. As a sought-after keynote speaker, she shares her expertise on mental health, trauma recovery, and relationship dynamics, inspiring audiences with her profound knowledge and personal story of overcoming adversity.

Jirzia earned her Master of Social Work from the Silver School of Social Work at New York University, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Brooklyn College, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at California Southern University. Her extensive career includes working in diverse settings, from non-profits serving at-risk children and families to providing therapeutic support for adults living with HIV/AIDS, survivors of domestic violence, and individuals with chronic mental illness.

Certified in Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Jirzia uses evidence-based approaches to empower her clients and audiences. Her work, grounded in compassion and a holistic view of mental health, positions her as a leader in both therapy and education. Through her keynote presentations, she explores practical tools for healing, personal empowerment, and creating meaningful change.
